Thanks to the generosity of Lawrence and Donna Taylor, former members at Boone First United Methodist Church, five congregations in central Iowa are now blessed with dedicated pastors! The earnings from the Taylor Scholarship Fund have been used to support students attending Licensing School in Iowa.

Reverend Jon Bailey, Dean of the Iowa Licensing School, expressed appreciation on behalf of the school: “Our faculty, leadership and I have a deep sense of gratitude.” Pastor Jodi Rushing, Chair of the Board of Ordained Ministry, wrote to us: “We cannot thank you enough for the generous financial contribution to the Iowa Licensing School. We are blessed to have a licensing school here in Iowa with quality faculty to help train new pastors in the Iowa Conference and beyond.”                                                                              

The Taylor Scholarship Fund, like all accounts managed by IUMF, is invested in accordance with the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church.
